The Senior Internal Communications Specialist will lead impactful internal communications campaigns that build engagement, drive behaviour change and help colleagues feel connected to the organisation purpose, strategy and transformation journey.

The Senior Internal Communications specialist will create and deliver our flagship campaigns, produce engaging social-first multimedia content and support colleague events including virtual and in-person town halls. This role offers the un-paralleled opportunity to help create a more connected and joined-up business that will thrive in a new era, together as one organisation.

We firmly believe in flexibility and trust in order for our colleagues to full-fill their potentials. For this role, there is a one day per week requirement in either of our vibrant & modern Coventry or Manchester offices.

Our benefits include:

  • 28 days (plus bank) holidays per year + buy/sell scheme
  • Pension scheme with business contributions up to 10%
  • 6x Life Assurance
  • Annual discretionary bonus scheme

About you

We’re looking for someone who can make colleagues stop scrolling, start talking, and take action.

You'll be an experienced and hands-on communications professional who enjoys creating campaigns that make a real impact. Curious, creative and relentlessly colleague-focused, you will know how to turn complex information into clear stories, engaging content and experiences that people notice, understand and remember.

For this role you'll need to have:

  • Background in internal communications, marketing, journalism, or have agency experience supporting internal communications in a large organisation.
  • Demonstratable experience in a role focused on the delivery of communication or engagement campaigns that drive behavioural change and increase overall engagement.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with confidence to influence at all levels.
  • Experience creating high-quality social-first multimedia content.
  • Ability to use data, insights and the full suite of M365 tools (inc. Viva Engage and leveraging Copilot) to demonstrate impact and harness better outcomes from internal communications activities.

Experience in these areas would be helpful:

  • Experience delivering large-scale colleague events / town halls, being able to adapt to different and changing requirements where required.
